It occurred to me today that I truly have a "thing" about the Ziploc freezer bag....not just one size but the quart and gallon sizes....hmmmm...It all started when my sister-n-law came into our lives. Her dad worked for the company that manufactured these Lovelies....she would bring over a few boxes each time we visited with her....how Lucky we were! Now I am hooked! They were indespensible when my son was a baby...snacks, toy storage, wet clothes, dirty diapers.... the list went on. Then they crept into my kitchen and the rest is history...I buy them weekly (Beth's dad has retired-so no more freebies)....my life would never be the same without them! They are truly an underappreciated tool! The Food Network cooks use them...."resealable bags"....for frosting/piping and for marinating but always in a matter of fact way...no Fanfare! I use them for storage, re-packaging, marinating, baking, etc. Especially now, the garden is providing amazing veggies each day. I wash things up when I return from my daily walk and in they go...into their "Ziploc Safety" until the evening meal...Ziplocs are like a clean and tidy Holding Pod for the day! I Love Them! - Ziplocs are one of the first "green" ways to package your foods....resealable, and reusable/washable (except if you store meat or eggs)
